Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was a healthy, active, 66-year-old woman. I enjoyed walking daily, doing yoga, and being outside in the sun. I held a full-time managerial position. I had energy and was able to multitask. I had a life.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I admit I was on the fence about getting it. I did what research I could and discussed it with my PCP. I was not mandated to get the vaccine by my employer, however, there was "pressure" because of my managerial position. In the end, given the fact that when I get a respiratory infection it is pneumonia-leaning, I opted to get the vaccine rather than worry about getting Covid and any lung complications. I have regretted this decision every day since.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

The 1st vaccine was not pleasant but presented with the usual severe headache immediately, a slight fever, and body aches which lasted 5 days. The tiredness lasted about 10 days. The 2nd vaccine brought a migraine within 20 minutes of injection. I had a fever and body aches. On Day 4, I got up to go back to work still with a migraine-like headache, light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, head and neck pain, and balance issues. I didn't have vertigo, but rather some type of balance disorder that threw me off with eye movement and/or body movement up, down to the right or left. I had extreme pressure in my head. My brain felt heavy, swollen, and hot (but no fever) and from that day on I would have difficulty processing information fully. I developed unrelenting tinnitus a few months later, shortness of breath, nausea, and at least another full page of additional symptoms, too numerous to list. It is now nearly 1 year & 7 months later, and I am still trying to manage these symptoms. I have walked with a cane since November 2021, to steady my body and gait. I am grateful to have finally received a diagnosis from the 3rd neurologist I saw. A diagnosis I knew I had because of the research I have done on my own. Vestibular migraines, PPPD (Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness), and Post-Covid syndrome (Long Covid) are all vaccine-induced. Unfortunately, this neurologist has been unable to help me. I am not better, but I believe my body has adapted with a high pain tolerance and a desire to find an answer to this nightmare.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I have seen more doctors and had more tests in the past year and a half than I care to admit. Multiple rounds of lab tests, MRI/Brain, ECOG, ENG, EMG, 6 weeks of Vestibular physical therapy, CT Scans of Chest/Lungs - multiple, D-Dimer, Ultrasound/leg. I have seen 3 neurologists, 1 hearing/vision specialist, rheumatologist. Nothing was found, except a positive D-Dimer, but no clot was found. Ground glass in both bases of the lungs, which appeared then disappeared on the next CT scan.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

To my knowledge, it was never reported to VAERS by any of the healthcare professionals I saw. I did not report it, because the CDC set up this website, and I didn't trust it to matter to anyone at that point.

Q: Are there any treatments we should know about that helped or hurt your health?

I haven't had any successful treatment thus far. I was given a myriad of migraine medications which either had no effect or exacerbated my symptoms. I embarked on a new therapy on 12/25, which is anti-platelet, anticoagulant therapy. It is a 3-month treatment plan, and I am hopeful.

Q: Have you had Covid before?

No never

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I wish those who have been vaccine-injured and those who tend to doubt us, had the truth presented from the beginning. The information and reports are coming out now little by little. It is shameful what has been done. I wish those who doubt us, understood. I consider myself an intelligent person and do my best to weigh all sides, before I make a decision for my life. My decision to get the vaccine was mine, and one I regret every day of my life. There has been no transparency to the general public with regard to the information. I wish people could be open-minded to the fact that thousands upon thousands of people have either died from getting the vaccine, or their lives have been severely altered due to their reaction to the spike protein. Real side effects, not rare as has been put forth. I wish more doctors were accepting of the possibility that patients were telling the truth about their response to the vaccine. It took me 10 months to get a diagnosis that I knew I had. It is sad this happened in our country. However, we must cultivate hope and pray for strength every day to find the answers. www.realnotrare.com
